A Florida woman’s Sunday drive through Darien ended with a tree falling onto her car at 6 p.m.
Police said she was driving a 2009 Land Rover east on Talmadge Hill Road when the tree fell onto her windshield and roof. She suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Norwalk Hospital by New Canaan EMS for evaluation.
Police said the accident was directly related to the severe thunderstorm that went through town at that time.
