Former Wave standout distance runner Caroline McDonough helped Columbia win its first womens’ indoor track Ivy title her junior year.

And the rising senior contributed to the 2011-12 championship in record setting fashion, both indoors and out.

Last season McDonough (DHS Class of 2009) ran the next fastest indoor 5,000-meters in Lions history.

Her time was 16:26.

Outdoors, McDonough’s 34:07 in the 10,000 was the third fastest time on record for the team.
