Darien High swimmers Olivia Leunis, Maggie Orem, Caroline Orem, Samantha Schrenker and Courtney Ferreira each swam 1.5 miles in Long Island Sound.

Wave girls swim/dive team members took part in the local annual Swim Across America event, the Stamford/Greenwich Open Water Swim, on Saturday.
The event raised over $400,000 for cancer research.
