Generations of Darienites got together Sunday to admire the town fireworks, which lit up the sky shortly after 9 p.m.

As a Darien resident, my family and I loved the fireworks show that Darien put together, so nicely, on Sunday night.
From ice cream to popcorn, brightly colored hats and glow sticks, the Darien fireworks were a true show of American spirit.
The bright colors and resounding sounds of the display were such a treat. I also really liked the fireworks band (especially my friend, Mrs. Loura) which was a really cool addition.
Thank you to the Town of Darien Firefighters Association and Mr. Genovese and his “fireworks committee” for making the whole evening a reality.
I look forward to a great event next year!
