At Home In Darien is thankful for the volunteers who participated in this fall’s senior leaf raking program.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the St Thomas Moore Youth Group of Darien, Boy Scout Troop 35, Darien YMCA Adventure Guides and Princesses, Church of Latter Day Saints Youth Darien Ward, The Droogan Family, Melanie and Matthew Lynch, Lucy Ackemann and family, and Rebekah and Matthew King, for spending over 300 combined hours raking, bagging and hauling numerous piles of leaves from the homes of 31 Darien seniors.

At Home In Darien received overwhelmingly positive feedback from very happy and appreciative seniors who enjoyed chatting with their volunteers and even posing for some pictures, and from volunteers who were happy to help out people in the community.

At Home In Darien is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to help older adults in Darien to live independently, comfortably and with dignity in their own homes for as long as possible. For more information, or to volunteer, please call 203-655-2227 or visit: www.athomeindarien.org.
