DIVING
Jake Bowtell, a rising junior at Fairfield Prep, is an All-American diver, and for the second year in a row.
He again appeared on the recently released NISCA/Speedo All-American 1-Meter Diving rolls, first making the cut for the 2011 list, after first diving for Darien High as a freshman, as well as in regional and national events.
Also from town — and Darien is a hotbed for the sport, rivaling even lacrosse — Blue Wave rising sophomores Robert (Lee) Christensen and Lizzie Fitzpatrick.
