The Darien High School football team has invited its former players to join together again and take part in “a special evening of fellowship and reminiscences,” 7 p.m. June 23 at the Piedmont Club.
Wave football coach Rob Trifone will be hosting this special event.
Details are expected to be announced closer to the date.
“In addition to meeting old friends and teammates members of the current coaching staff will be present to provide updates on the team’s prospects in the coming season,” said the first announcement. “We will also be helping raise funds for the team to buy new concussion-resistant helmets as well as shoulder pads.”
