An ongoing dispute between family members led to one being arrested for stealing the clothes of her niece on Thursday, July 17.
Police responded to the Hoyt Street home where a woman said that her aunt, Susan Fieber, 61, stole her clothes. Fieber’s niece told police she had packed a suitcase at 9:45 that morning, and when she came home at 6:45 p.m., some of the clothes were missing, police said.
Fieber initially denied having taken the clothes, police said, but later admitted to the theft, and gave the clothes to police. Fieber told police that she took the clothes because her niece had taken her computer’s keyboard.
Her niece said she wanted to press charges because of ongoing incidents in the home, police said. Fieber was released on a promise to appear in court on Monday, July 29.
