Pool filter stolen from Darien home

Police responded to the theft of a pool filter from a home on Priscilla Lane on Friday, May 31.

The victim told police that on Friday, May 24 during routine maintenance by a pool company, the technician discovered that the pool filter had been stolen. The victim is not sure when he last observed the filer intact, police said. The filter lines were cut with a saw-type device and the replacement value is approximately $500.

  1. They are filled with sand. How could anybody cart it away. Weird ?? And how could there be no witnesses on a road like that.
