COLLEGE SQUASH
Madeleine Gill, former captain of the Darien High squash team and 2011 FCIAC Athlete of the Year, and a sophomore at Stanford University, won the Holleran Cup at Trinity College recently.
The tournament included 48 top college squash players, and Gill won five matches in a row in the elimination event to win the trophy.
She plays No. 3 on the Stanford Squash team.
