ICE DANCING
They train at Darien Ice Rink, they are Turkish National Champions and they made the wait between the first and second periods never seem less of a bore.
Smoother than the fresh ice, Ice Dancers Cagla Demirsal and her partner Berk Akalin put on a short show prior to the start of the second period of the Wave boys hockey vs. New Canaan match on Monday afternoon.

The 18-year-old’s finished top 20 in the world in 2012, while in Nov. winning Gold at the International Competition in Graz, Austria.
Next the pair, who also train in Stamford, compete in Milan this month in the Junior World Championships.
They have been living in Stamford.
Demirsal and Akalin are training for the September Qualifying Competition in Germany for a place at the Sochi Olympic Games in Russia in 2014.
