BOYS HOCKEY
Brendan Hathaway put away two goals to lead the Wave to a 5-1 win over the Rams to take the FCIAC top seed at DIR on Monday.
Jack Knowlton had the winning goal, Nick Tuzinkiewicz the 1-0 marker, and Connor Davis capped it in the third with goal No. 5.
Mike Collins made his rookie season an FCIAC undefeated one in goal.
Darien goes 11-0-1, the second place Rams 10-2 in the FCIAC. Playoffs start Saturday with quarterfinals.
