Heather Annique Rochat, daughter of Pierre and Valerie Rochat of Bernardsville, N.J., was wed to Liam Scott Burke, the son of Lynne and W. Vincent Burke of Darien. The wedding took place on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, N.J.
The Reverend David E. Schroeder officiated at the outdoor ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. A reception followed at the country club. The rehearsal diner given by the groom’s parents was held on Sept. 14 at 90 Acres at Natirar, Peapock in Gladstone, N.J.
The matron of honor was the bride’s longtime friend, Lauren Wojton of Brielle, N.J. The maid of honor was another longtime friend, Tina Patient of New York City. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Arend of Los Angeles, Calif., Lindsay Scott and Amy Tiso, both of New York City, and Sasha Sadler of Hoboken, N.J. Summer Wojton, daughter of Lauren and Dave Wojton, served as flower girl.
Best men were the brothers of the groom, Sean Burke of Philadelphia, and Brendan Burke of Darien. Groomsmen were the brothers of the bride, Philippe Rochat and Trevor Rochat, both from Bernardsville, N.J., and friends Jeffrey Cashman of Stamford, and Ken Lovell of Santa Monica, Calif.
The bride graduated from Bernards High School in Bernardsville, N.J.,and the University of Rhode Island. She is a teacher at Landmark Preschool of Ridgefield Academy in Westport.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Darien High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana. He graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. He is an attorney at the Connecticut law firm of Sandak, Hennessey and Greco, in Stamford.
The couple resides in Norwalk.
