As Darien continues to dig out of heavy snow from Friday and Saturday, Darien schools will operate on a 90-minute delay Monday, Feb. 11. Snow averages were in between a foot and a foot and a half in Darien, with some areas in the state up to three feet.
President Obama has declared a State of Emergency in Connecticut and train service above Stamford continue to be suspended and the governor has encouraged those who cannot stay home from work Monday to carpool.
