Message from the Town of Darien Emergency Operations Center (EOC):
•Residents are urged to avoid all non-essential travel
•Shelter in place by remaining indoors
•Ensure that generators are properly vented
•Roads continue to be plowed but they are extremely slippery
•By 5:30pm the temperature will be in the 20’s and visibility will be 0’
•The coastline remains subject to flooding
•Amtrak is currently not servicing our area and Metro North schedules are subject to change
•Bus service as of 4:00pm is running on a reduced schedule and will stop at 6:00pm
