Rocks were thrown through homes on Edgerton Street and Revere Road on Saturday, Jan. 19. The owner at the Revere home told Darien Police that at 12:20 a.m. he heard a loud noise. Later than morning, he discovered a rock had been thrown through a bedroom window, and the rock was resting on a bed. The damage estimate was unknown, police said.
Just across Middlesex Road, another rock was thrown through an Edgerton Street home. Officers responded at 12:54 a.m., and the resident told police that he had been awakened by his alarm company reporting the activation of his alarm system. Upon checking the living room area, he discovered a rock had been thrown at a four-foot by four-foot picture window. The rock did not break through the entire window, and was found lying outside at its base. The outer portion of the double pane window was shattered, police said.
