Darien man arrested for striking wife

A Salisbury Road man faces disorderly conduct charges for striking his wife on Saturday, Jan. 12. Officers were called at 1:27 a.m. on a report of a fight between a husband and wife. Police learned that a verbal disagreement had turned physical with the husband subsequently striking his wife. The husband was arrested, and he posted a $2,500 bond. He had court on Monday, Jan. 14. No medical treatment was required, police said.
