Join the Darien Community Association for an educational evening that focuses on personal finances from a woman’s perspective.
Instructor Karen Goersch offers sound, practical strategies that you can use immediately to help pursue a more comfortable financial future. Topics include investing to retirement to maximizing Social Security benefits to preparing for the unexpected, with specific information for women who face divorce or widowhood.
Goersch is a private wealth manager with Price Financial Group of Wilton. A former CPA, Goersch is a registered rep with LPL Financial and a licensed Investment Advisor with Private Advisor Group, LLC and brings a wealth of both corporate and personal financial experience from years working at Coopers & Lybrand and NYNEX (Verizon).
Her philosophy is founded on helping clients understand their needs, building a personal financial plan and determining what investments are suitable for each client – from asset allocation strategy to income planning to individual investment selection.
This interactive workshop will be held Thursday, Jan. 31. Wine and cheese will be served at 7 p.m, followed by the presentation at 7:15 p.m. The workshop fee for DCA members is $10; $20 public price.
Participants will receive a full-color, 20-page workbook filled with a wealth of information and exercises, which are designed to help you assess your current situation and make sound financial decisions. Perhaps best of all, you will be eligible for the complimentary consultation offered to all workshop participants.
