The last time Darien hosted Staples it was New Year’s Eve.
The next time the Wreckers come to town will be a special occasion as well, 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 when Darien hosts the Blue Wave Booster Club’s night of hoops.
Darien downed the Wreckers to end 2012 with its first LaVista triumph.
The first 50 students will be admitted free and there will be free t-shirts and giveaways throughout the night.
There will be a special half-time dedication of the new state-of-the-art Fitness Center and Team Room donated through the generous donations of community members to the Blue Wave Booster Club.
All BWBC members get in free.
