BOYS HOCKEY
The Darien High boys’ hockey team joined the Daughters of the American Revolution Goodwife’s River Chapter and others at the Spring Grove Cemetery to participate in the Wreaths Across America Ceremony last month.
The annual ceremony, helping to place 768 wreaths on graves, took place at noon simultaneously on Dec. 15 at over 400 locations across the United States as well as National Cemeteries abroad.
The Worcester Wreath Company, Sponsors and Volunteers make it possible for Wreaths Across America to continue its mission “to Remember-Honor-Teach the next generation of the service and sacrifices of American Veterans.”
