Following the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, Darien High School’s Community Council and Royle School’s Student Government have partnered with badly damaged East Rockaway High School to help with the effort to reopen its doors. Contributions will be collected through Wednesday, December 5th. DHS students will use the contributions to purchase items requested by the East Rockaway faculty to be used directly into their classrooms. The DHS Community Council will be accepting monetary donations during morning drop off. Donations can also be made at the DHS front desk during the school day. Requested supplies will be purchased and delivered to East Rockaway High School during the second week of December.
