First Selectman Jayme Stevenson has placed another bet on this year’s Turkey Bowl with New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi.
This year, Stevenson’s bet predicts Darien will beat the Rams by 10 points and is hopeful for the team’s chances, and the stakes are lunch.
Last year, Stevenson bet Mallozzi on the Turkey Bowl. Stevenson’s loss meant a $100 donation to the Outback, New Canaan’s teen center.
The odds are not in Stevenson’s favor — Darien has not beaten New Canaan in the Turkey Bowl since 2001.
The Turkey Bowl is at Darien High School at 10:30 a.m. Thanksgiving day.
