Darien, New Canaan police looking for Impala involved in burglary on Hoyt Street

Sgt. Jeremiah Marron confirmed to The Darien Times there was a burglary that was just taking place on Hoyt Street that was interrupted by the homeowner. It is being actively investigated by the Darien Police Department.

New Canaan and Darien police are looking for a white Chevrolet Impala with Texas plates involved in an apparent Burglary on Hoyt Street (Route 106) by the Woodway Country Club in Darien.

It is believed the suspects drove north, possibly into New Canaan on Route 106, which becomes Old Stamford road at the town line. They also might have gotten on the Merritt Parkway in Taldmadge Hill.

According to police, the suspects’ car license plate includes C06 or CO6 (that’s a zero or an oh).
