Several Ice Cats present the check to the Bennett Cancer Center in Stamford, CT.
HOCKEY
The CT Ice Cats U12A hockey team played in the Pink in the Rink Tournament at the new Sono Ice House in South Norwalk. Throughout the tournament the Ice Cats were able to raise over $3,500 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of the Paint the Town Pink campaign.
After three days and six games in the tournament the Ice Cats came in second place after losing to the NY Skyliners in sudden death overtime.
The CT Ice Cats 12A team is part of the CT Ice Cats, a joint program between Darien Youth Hockey and New Canaan Winter Club.
The 16 members are from four different towns in Fairfield County and play in the CHC Hockey Tier 2 League and GAL Bronze A League as well as various tournaments in the Northeast.
