Darien League of Women Voters, with the Norwalk and Stamford leagues, will host Candidates’ Night on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at town hall. The event will begin with a reception in the lobby at 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., the candidates are scheduled to participate in a debate and discussion in the following order:
- Jack Chiaramonte (R), Bob Duff (D) for State Senate district 25
- Carlo Leone (D), Barry Michelson (R) for State Senate district 27
- Rob Werner (D), Terrie Wood (R) for State Representative, district 141
- Nicola Tarzia (R), William Tong (D) for State Representative, district 147
The debate will be moderated by Kay Maxwell, former national president of the league. A question period will follow.
No campaign materials or videotaping will be allowed.
